National Taipei University Ranks 8th in the World for SDG 16, Leading in Taiwan!

Times Higher Education (THE) just released its 2025 Impact Rankings on June 18. We’re proud to share that our university moved up to the 401–600 range worldwide, showing real progress from last year!

We achieved outstanding results in SDG 16—Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions—ranking 8th worldwide and No.1 in Taiwan.

Sustainability is becoming a global priority, and we’ve been working hard to integrate the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into what we teach, research, and do every day. Other SDGs we performed well in include:
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities – Top 101–200
SDG 15: Life on Land – Top 201–300
SDG 13: Climate Action – Top 301–400

This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to building a better, fairer, and more sustainable future. We’ll keep pushing forward — for our students, our community, and the planet.
